Lance Corporal 2614925, 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards. Died 21/05/1940. Age 23.

 

Born at Rothbury, Northumberland, in 1917, the third of seven children of Wilfred Ellerington and Annie Jane nee Nichol. By 1939 his parents were living at 18 Cobbold Road, Felixstowe, his father recorded as a retired farmer.
