Second Lieutenant 85629, 2nd Battalion, Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Died 27/05/1940. Age 21.

 

Born 1919 in Steyning, son of Guy Walford Turner and Kathleen Cecil nee Stirling. In 1939 the family were living at 11 Bacton Road (Rockville?), Felixstowe    where Guy is working as an Agricultural Auctioneer, Valuer & Estate Agent.

 

Second Lieutenant Turner was reported missing then later recorded as died of wounds. Buried at Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery.
