Born 1920 in Trimley the fifth of eight children of George Henry Versey and Annie Laura nee Jennings. In 1939 the family were living at 7 St. Andrews Road, Felixstowe with George working as a builders labourer & member of the auxiliary fire service.
Harold was wounded while serving as part of BEF in Italy 9/12/44. Buried at Felixstowe New Cemetery. Private Versey’s death was recorded at Deben.
