Husband of Edith M Burgess nee Green of Montreal House, High Road, Felixstowe, her family home. Before the war he worked as a butcher. In 1911 he lived at 251 High Street Walton.

 

Buried at Menin Road South Military Cemetery, the inscription on his headstone reads - ‘Death doth hide but not divide thou art on christ’s other side’
